All of a sudden yesterday morning, one of our garage doors (20 years old) would only open about 4 inches and couldn't be opened manually. We called Precision and made an appointment through Beth for the late afternoon and asked to have it earlier if there was an opening. She called back shortly to let us know she was able to schedule the appointment for earlier, which was very helpful. Later on, Dan McCulloch called to indicate when he'd arrive. He determined that our spring had broken on one of our doors and after we asked him to check the other door, he said there was a hump in it that indicated possible future trouble. He didn't press us to replace that spring, but we decided after his evaluation to do so. During the installation, he also determined (and demonstrated to us) that our bearings (?) weren't working properly on either door, so we decided to replace them as well. What we appreciated was that he took the time to show us what the condition of the parts was and also what the cost was of the replacement parts, exclusive of labor. He did not push us to replace the worn parts, but took the time to explain the consequences of retaining them. He was very helpful in making our decisions, and careful and thorough in performing the services.

I found the Receptionist (Beth) who answered the phone when I made my appointment to be extremely knowledgeable and very pleasant. My service technician,Gabriel Pohar, was very patient and thorough with his explanations of the different motors. He was efficient with his work and explained everything about the motor I had replaced. He cleaned up and left no debris. I can truthfully say he was one of the best service persons I had ever had.
