Garage Door Repair Reviews in Newtown Square, PA (Updated June 2026)

The spring mechanism on my garage door broke, I called Precision Door Service, who responded almost immediately. Leroy came out, was extremely courteous and helpful discussing my options. I opted to have a torsion spring mechanism installed. It's much quieter than my previous mechanism and works perfectly. While he was installing it, Leroy cleaned out my somewhat dirty tracks and ensured everything worked smoothly. All done within the 90 minutes he estimated.

He completed the job in a timely manner and made sure I was happy with the result before he left. He was professional at all times and cleaned up when the job was complete. Darrin Mills did an excellent job performing my Garage Door Opener motor battery replacement. He arrived exactly on time and also called me to tell me he was on his way. I did not have to wait through the 4 hour time window because he arrived at the start of the 4 hour time window. He checked the door operation and changed my remote controls' batteries. He also showed me how to open the motor housing door for when I have to change the light bulbs. I also appreciated only having to wait two days for the appointment. The price was very reasonable. This was a five star job!

Gave full explanation of options and did not upsell. Upon agreement on solutions he completed work efficiently. The technician Tina analyzed the problem and installed a new opener. However, the door would not open. She then looked at the wiring in the wall and replaced a section of the wire. The opener now works flawlessly.
