Our 25-year old garage door opener died between Christmas and New Year. Despite it being the holiday season, Precision scheduled a a technician to be at our home the following day. Chris, the technician, was superb. He gave us several options to deal with the problem, ranging from a less expensive repair of our old unit to replacement with a selection of new unit. We had a new unit and an operating garage door opener with 2 hours. I was thoroughly satisfied.

I have used Precision in the past and was very pleased with the service. Now at my new home I needed service. Precision came out Monday 12/9 after putting in the request on Friday 12/6. They even made my call the first one. Chris and Tina called the night before and the day of to let me know what find they would arrive. They accessed my door and gave me a quote. They had all the parts needed for the repairs and did so in a timely manner. I could not ask for better service and highly recommend Precision.

Asked for service for broken spring …. was trying to upsell every service imaginable. When we explained we just wanted the spring fixed he refused to do just the one on the basis it wasn’t safe. My home, understand concerns but in the end if we only want one spring fixed that’s what we should get! Won’t call them again since they are only interested in selling you way more than needed! Lowest quote was over $600. Was trying to sell us $1300-$1600 in work. Husband fixed it for $25.

Thank you for your feedback on our service. Unfortunately, you need a lot more work on your door than just one spring. And yes, we do not replace just one spring on a two spring system. It's like asking a mechanic to replace one tire, when all four are bald. While it is your home, it's also our work and our safety standards. You have frayed cables, a cracked top panel, pulleys that are binding. The door needs real work. We are sorry that are unhappy with our minimum work standards.

Chris did a great job providing options to repair our garage doors and springs as well as replace the keyless entry device. He was very polite and professional.
