Dylan Reynolds is personable and competent technician. He knows his business and is efficient. To a separate topic - this morning a technician was scheduled to arrive at my residence between 8 and 12. At 11:45 after telephoning Precision Services I was told the technician was delayed. As good business practice I should have been notified the technician was delayed as I kept the morning open and required the afternoon to perform necessary errands. Service was performed well, and the technicians were very professional and took their time to explain everything (5 stars). Your pricing, though, is twice from what it should be, so for that reason I would not recommend your services.

This company is professional and organized. They follow up and come when they say they will. The work performed was fine and the salesman / technician was knowledgeable. I would give them a five star but for the cost of the products and labor. This is a high margin business now owned by private equity. I was surprised by the cost of the basic parts and labor which took no more than 45 minutes. Repairs were just under $1,000 for rollers, cables, pullies, and springs, none of which are precision components that would warrant the cost. They do however provide a warranty, which I would have preferred not to be built into the cost. They have a good business model. Thanks.
Hi Jim, Thank you for your kind words regarding our service technicians and the work done. Please rest assured that we use the highest quality parts available on the market. They may not "look" different, but trust me they are. For example, if you look closely at the rollers, you'll see that they are sealed bearing rollers. Very much different from the exposed bearing rollers competitors use. From a distance, all you see is the white nylon, but the true longevity of the parts will be apparent as time goes on. Yes, many large service companies are being gobbled up by private equity firms, but we are still locally owned and operated and have been since 2005. I took full control over from my father this year and you can see my son working as a technician on our technician bio pages. It's not easy taking on multi million dollar firms, but we know what we need to do in order to prosper. Our goal is to grow our company around a core of great employees who provide the best possible service. I'm glad that you were able to experience the best side our great employees and the work they do.

Technician was pleasant and fixed the lose belt on our garage door in 5 minutes with no tools or parts needed. The reason I can only give a "3" star is because the charge was $200...for literally 5 minutes. Precision Doors charges $85 to come out and an hourly fee on top of that. Feels like a lot...

They installer did not have model 8355 I ordered to replace my older but working unit . He talked me into accepting model 8550 with WizFi. He did not activate the WiFi and simply left me a printed manual.

Tech installed garage door opener motor only. The tech said the motor only came with 1 remote but left a 2nd remote which was very nice of him. He was going to leave a spare garage door pulley cable but never did. He decided to leave the old track instead of a new one because it is a single piece track that is heavier duty which was fine. He did not leave the new track or any hardware. He had the motor installed fairly quickly. He left before I could use the coupon.
