One evening I heard the spring on my garage door break. As an avid "Do-it-Yourselfer" I started doing some research into this type of repair. I very quickly discovered that these springs come in a multitude of strengths for different weight doors. Since this setup was very old and I didn't know the weight of the door, I realized that, at best, this would be trial and error with a lot of learning along the way. While doing my research, I came across the website of Precision Door and was surprisingly impressed. So I did some more research on Precision Door themselves and gave them a call. Leo was out to my house the very next day. He went over all my options and prices then let me choose. He completed the work in an very friendly and professional manner while exhibiting a comforting level of competence. What's nice is that they come to your house with all the equipment they need. That means they have many different strength springs with them so they can use the perfect one. Leo actually tried a couple before he found the right one. Now the door works so much better than it has ever worked before. In fact, whenever I hit the button on the opener I still to turn around to make sure its working because it is so much quieter that it ever was before. I'm really glad I gave Precision Door a call. It's a good feeling to know it's done right.
