Both Chris and Jonathan arrived in a timely fashion, and after listening to the problems I was experiencing, they took a brief while to inspect the garage and the workings of the door, etc. They then explained that I either could have parts installed in an effort to get the motor working or decide to replace the motor itself. Due to the age of the motor, it was an easy decision for me to simply replace the door opener and I was then given the options I had for the replacement. I felt secure in everything they told me and after making the decision on the type of motor, Jonathan proceeded with the installation. Both Chris and Jonathan were very personable and professional, and put me at ease with my decision. After the installation was performed, Jonathan then explained everything I needed to know regarding the working of the motor, the remotes, etc. It was a pleasure having them arrive, and do the work all in one day (actually a little over 2 1/2 hours). They were both a pleasure to deal with and I will definitely use Precision again in the future should I have the need?

We had an issue with our garage door not closing due to a bent track. Our doors were installed in October 2024. We called around 2pm and the tech Matt was here at 4pm. Talk about great service. Matt came out and fixed the issue and gave me some tips to extend the life of the springs on the doors. He was very friendly and we received great service. Thanks for coming out so quick!

Called Precision because I was impressed with the reviews. I was not disappointed. I booked online but followed up with a phone call since I was a new customer. The person on the phone was very helpful and professional My technician, Matt, came within the window given. He assessed the problem and gave me several alternatives. No pressure. He was extremely nice and a pleasure to deal with. Spent 2 1/2 hours on a very cold afternoon repairing everything. Highly recommend Precision.

We had service call today and the technician's name was Leo. He was very professional and explained the condition of our garage door and what improvements could be made. I contacted Precision on Friday evening via their website to schedule an appointment since my garage door motor died. I contacted Precision based on the previous work they performed two years ago and was very satisfied with the products and workmanship. Darrin Mills was at my residence Monday morning to assess the problem. Darrin was on time and demonstrated a understanding to my issue. My wooden garage door began to intermittently produce a loud "bang" when the bottom of it reached the garage floor. I did my own troubleshooting: there were no broken cables and no obstructions. I called Precision and did not have to wait long for a scheduled appointment. Dylan arrived on time and performed a complete inspection of the door and opener equipment. It was evident to me that he is knowledgeable and likes the work he does. He answered all my questions about the operation of the door, the opener and remote control. It took patience to diagnose the problem since the loud bang was intermittent. Dylan discovered that the steel bracket attached to the garage door did not provide double-sided support of the arm that moves the door up and down (even though it was securely fastened and posed no safety risk) and was the cause of the intermittent banging. He replaced the bracket and the garage door movement has never been quieter! He also adjusted the spring tension and door movement position settings.

Repair person was pleasant and fixed my problem in a timely fashion, but there was miscommunication on what was being completed. I thought I was getting new rollers, but apparently the $900 option I chose did not include them. This was inconsistent with my understanding of the work I agreed to, which seemed expensive in my opinion. Also, one of the repaired items was a new key pad for an opener, which Precison had installed 24 months ago. It was apparently not under warranty any more. My other opener and keypad (came with the house when I bought it) is over 15 years old and still going strong. It was very frustrating that the roller issue was miscommunicated and that I was charged full price for a keypad to replace the old one Pecision installed 2 years ago. I will not use Precision again in the future.

Fantastic service! Our garage door opener stopped working at 3:00 on the Friday after Thanksgiving and the technician was there by 4:00. He explained what was needed (new garage door opener because of failed circuit board on 20 year old unit), the options for a new opener, and finished the work in about an hour and 15 minutes - including removing the old chain mechanism and replacing it with newer cables. After he finished, he instructed us on how to use the keypad and answered questions. The installer was a real professional! Thank you so much!

I called today to set up an appointment for a garage door repair and they said they would come out today bwt. Noon and 3 PM. What a nice surprise they were here at ll:45 AM. I have previously used another garage door service but going forward I will only call Precision. I could not successfully install a new Genie keypad, despite a lengthy call with Genie Customer Service. I contacted Precision and Gabe confirmed my suspicion that the new keypad was faulty. I was very pleased with the timely service provided by Precision Garage Door. One of the tensioned garage door springs had broken, and I know enough not to attempt that repair as a DIY project. I called Precision and scheduled an appointment for the next day. Later that afternoon I was contacted by the technician asking if I was available the same day, as he had freed up earlier on a prior job and was in the area. The technician; Mike Hopton was exceptional. He diagnosed the issue and gave me a quote before starting any work. He advised me of a military discount and completed the job in a timely manner. Mike also took the time to explain the procedures, and answered all my questions. Mike made some additional adjustments and fixed the light fixture on the opener, even providing a light bulb for the new fixture. The parts for the job were the majority of my bill.
