Thank you for your feedback on our service. Unfortunately, you need a lot more work on your door than just one spring. And yes, we do not replace just one spring on a two spring system. It's like asking a mechanic to replace one tire, when all four are bald. While it is your home, it's also our work and our safety standards. You have frayed cables, a cracked top panel, pulleys that are binding. The door needs real work. We are sorry that are unhappy with our minimum work standards.

we asked for an estimate, they came out, a month went by, no estimate, called them said they would take care of it , nothing, now we get an email to review work that they did for us???? someone needs to take charge of this business, will never deal with again!!!! its making me put in a service to send this review, they did nothing

Percision seems less than Precise. They called on the wrong phone number and and then arrogantly told me I would be charged the service fee again to do the repair. They started by messing up the phone numbers and then wanted $315($460 with the double service charge) for a $20 part that takes less than 10 minutes to install. I would avoid this very confussed, rude and expensive company. Literally anyone else would be the better way to go.

Was not happy at all. I called you to our home for a repair, the garage door is 2" short of completely closing, therefore the garage is the same temperature as the outside and my babies room is above. I assumed this was an adjustment and was willing to pay for such. Not only was nothing done, I was charged $40.00 for 6 estimates beginning at $670 dollars, none of which we can afford. Not happy in Coatesville.

I had used Precision Door twice in the past, once for a garage door replacement and once for an opener replacement. When one of the springs broke I didn’t hesitate to contact them again. I was charged $675 for 2 new springs, 4 pulleys, and a new cable wire. It took the technician 35 minutes to complete the job. Afterwards I did some internet research on the parts. I was charged $35 per pulley while the average price online is $5. Springs sell for way less than the $120 each that I was charged. I felt totally ripped and still do. I will not be using Precision Door in the future. The only positive part of this experience was the technician, Gabriel, who was very professional and was not responsible for the absurd prices he quoted.
- Cathy
Cathy, I am happy you noticed the professionalism and courtesy of our technician, Gabriel. Sorry to hear you felt our prices are high. However, it is a great mistake to believe that on-line pricing of products in any way reflect the true cost of at home services. Asking us to match Amazon's price on springs is the same as asking Domino's to match a supermarket frozen pizza or asking Wawa to match the cost of a cup of coffee made at home. Last year, my Wawa coffee costed $1. Yesterday, my Wawa coffee costs $2. Coffee made at home cost how much? This is true to our running costs across the board. We service your home with a fully stocked truck in order to fix your door same day, stocked superior quality parts, by professional technicians. American made springs (your springs were produced in Reading PA), Gas, Trucks (45% increase in truck costs year on year) and technician pay, everything across the board, has all risen significantly over the last year. In these uncertain times, in order to serve our customers today and many years into the future, we've raise our prices significantly. Our apologies, but that's just the reality of the current business environment. We wish you all the best. Keep in mind, you have a great warranty on your spring system which we 100% back. If in the future, there is an issue with the repair we did, please don't hesitate to call us in order to address any issues that are covered under warranty.

Scheduled an appoint because the cable through one of our spring broke. Our technician came out and spent most of his time walking in circles in the garage randomly yelling to my wife about different things he saw in the garage. He then told my wife he needed to rebuild the entire system. When she told him that she wanted to think about it, he adjusted the door so two pulley ran into each other on the remaining cable, leaving the garage door unable to fully close. This then bent the angle iron on that side. In summary, I called for service and had my system broken further by the technician that attempted to scam us. Would never recommend to anyone.

Do not recommend. They charge $30 for an estimate and prices are more than double that other companies. Total rip off when I clearly asked on the phone for an estimate. No service was provided.

Victor, a very nice young man, performed the repair. He arrived on time, was extremely good in installing and cleanup afterwards. Would recommend your company. This was the 2nd time I've had Precision service the garage door.

When I called, I was not told about the $29.95 service fee. Technician could not fix my door but could re -build the hardware that lifts and closes the door for $500.00+ He was at my house for 5 minutes and I paid almost $30 for NOTHING!

Keith, Thanks for your note. I love the doors and enjoyed working with your sales people. My only problem is I ordered the carriage type hardware for the doors which was not delivered. I was assured last night it would be completed today (Friday) and cane to the job being not complete. I already paid for the full job and ask for your help to provide the hardware. Thanks Best Paul

Matt called to say that he felt our Opener prices were too high and that he could buy one at a Home Depot or Online for far less. He also stated that our spring prices are much higher than what he could get online.
- Matt
Matt, Understood. Nobody can compete with big box store. Home Depot sell openers for less than our least expensive opener costs us to buy. I'm sorry that you can't understand this, but this is the reality of all small business in America. BUT, you forget our openers are brought to your door, installed the same day you telephoned us for service and all done by a professional. We make sure your door is working safely ensuring that both your door and opener will have a long working life. You want cheap stuff. Call Home Depot. You want the best products on the market with unmatched professional service. Call us.

I WASN'T HAPPY WITH THE CONDITION THE WORKSPACE WAS LEFT AFTER THE REPAIR, DIRT & TRASH, SPRAY PAINT ON MY FLOORS.
- Fred
Fred, Thanks for taking the time to meet this morning. We do apologize for the drywall pieces that were left on the floor as well as the paint splatter. We appreciate your response. I've spoken with Angel and have made it clear that this type of service will not be tolerated from any employees of our company.

As discussed with Tom, there was no communication to me that Bryan was going to be an hour late after the set appointment. Having the technician or office staff contact the customer if there is to be a delay would eliminate this issue. Bryan is not a good reflection of customer service on your company which I have found everyone else I have dealt with in the past to be excellent. I only hope the quality of his work is better than his customer service.
- Glen
Glen, As per our conversation, I do apologize. We dropped the ball on this call and appreciated your letting us know. Communication: I'll be discussing it with all our technicians this coming meeting. It's easy to forget to call ahead when faced with a difficult job, but they certainly need to keep in mind the customer who is still waiting. We'll work on it.

Asked for service for broken spring …. was trying to upsell every service imaginable. When we explained we just wanted the spring fixed he refused to do just the one on the basis it wasn’t safe. My home, understand concerns but in the end if we only want one spring fixed that’s what we should get! Won’t call them again since they are only interested in selling you way more than needed! Lowest quote was over $600. Was trying to sell us $1300-$1600 in work. Husband fixed it for $25.
