I lost power because of the hurricane. I needed to leave the next morning, still no power, to pick up my grandchildren so their parents could go to work. I disconnected the electric cord of the garage door. I could not manually lift the garage door, even a little bit. I've done this many times before when I lost power in the past so I knew what I was doing. I tried to lift my garage door again and again. No luck. I called Precision and told them of my predicament. The receptionist said all the technicians were out on jobs, but she would send someone over as soon as one was free. Within an hour Mike called and said he was on his way. Mike showed up with his mask on ready to help. He checked out the problem-he couldn't lift the door either. He discovered the problem. With all the dampness from the hurricane, the top of the door was stuck to the wall. He had the muscles to yank the door away from the wall. No problem. The garage door lifted with ease. It was just one of those weird situations that took an experienced technician to figure out. Thank you, Mike, for coming to my rescue in a timely manner.

Gabriel worked on our OLD garage door and got it working by fixing the cables/pulleys/springs to get us through until we change our siding and replace the doors to match. He is very professional and courteous and took great pride in his work. He thoroughly explained everything he recommended doing and went over the exact cost to discuss with my husband. Then worked efficiently to get our door working better than it has in years. When we buy our new doors/openers, I hope the installers are as good as Gabriel.

Called this morning and scheduled appt. for today (between 3 and 6pm). Tech arrived 3:15pm. "Will" was very friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. He explained the problem and addressed it in a reasonable amount of time. This was not my first service call with Precision. Hopefully, I won't need their service too frequently, but will not hesitate to call them if I do.

Dan and Bill came the same day that I called with a problem getting the door to close all the way. I called them because they installed my opener back in 2005. They were polite and efficient. I was happy that the maintenance could be done at the same time as the evaluation. (No second service call...) My door moves so much more smoothly and much, much quieter than it did. Great job!

Garage door broke around 7pm Monday, gave Precision a call and was told a technician would be out the next morning between 8-10. Received a phone call around 7:30, tech was at the house at 7:45 and the door was working by 9:30. Brian was great, knew what he was doing and explained the issues and options to fix.

Excellent service completed quickly and to our complete satisfaction. We had a total extension rebuild done and our door system seems like brand new. Technition was very knowledgable and friendly. We actually called them back the same day to do our other door.

I called another garage door repair place on Monday AM as my side was acting weird/wouldn't work even after troubleshooting and googling potential issues. He said he'd call back- I waited 2 days he never did. I called Precision and a man picked up, asked me what was going on tried to mini troubleshoot to make sure I didn't lock it out, etc. Then scheduled Ed to come out who came out 2 days later (after I got an email verifying my scheduled apt). Ed was out on time when he said- went through cheaper possible solutions and we ended up needing either a new receiver (electrical board) or just replacing the unit. I ended up replacing the unit as it was just $50 or so more than replacing the board. It was a 2 1/2 year old Lift Master and Ed stated he hadn't seen that go bad w/oyr a lightning strike or electrical surge in his 5 years doing this. Does it suck that a 2 year old opener failed- yes but Ed did a great job troubleshooting and explaining what my options were and what I paid for. Oh and my next door neighbor apparently came and grabbed him to look at hers since she was having issues also. He went over and did just that even though she hadn't called it in and scheduled it etc. Good guy, good service and company.

We called Precision after out garage door opener failed. Ed evaluated our system and made recommendations of repair and replacement. He explained the mechanical operation and safety elements of the springs, rollers, cables, etc. He completed the repairs quickly and effectively and reviewed the operation of the new opener. Great service.

Have used Precision twice. Each time I had the opportunity to meet different techs. In both cases they were friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, and easy to talk with. Would not hesitate to call Precision when in need of service--just hope it's not too often!

Mike from Precision Doors was here on time after calling me to tell me when he would arrive. Explained the issue and sorted it quickly. Our door wasn't closing properly, and Mike sorted it in 10 minutes. Have used Precision before and will again.
