I lost power because of the hurricane. I needed to leave the next morning, still no power, to pick up my grandchildren so their parents could go to work. I disconnected the electric cord of the garage door. I could not manually lift the garage door, even a little bit. I've done this many times before when I lost power in the past so I knew what I was doing. I tried to lift my garage door again and again. No luck. I called Precision and told them of my predicament. The receptionist said all the technicians were out on jobs, but she would send someone over as soon as one was free. Within an hour Mike called and said he was on his way. Mike showed up with his mask on ready to help. He checked out the problem-he couldn't lift the door either. He discovered the problem. With all the dampness from the hurricane, the top of the door was stuck to the wall. He had the muscles to yank the door away from the wall. No problem. The garage door lifted with ease. It was just one of those weird situations that took an experienced technician to figure out. Thank you, Mike, for coming to my rescue in a timely manner.

My old flimsy garage door had stopped working altogether. But I was amazed at how friendly and helpful the office staff was both to get started and as needed during the work. The representative, Leo, was sent to my home arriving within a couple of hours. He was very knowledgeable beyond my expectations, friendly, courteous, made recommendations that were logical and reasonable, replacing the flimsy door with a sturdier one, but keeping the electric motor that was still in good shape. He took time to explain all of the recommendations, and once we settled on our plan for a new sturdier door to be powered by the current motor, he took less than 30 minutes to get my current, broken down, noisy, flimsy door working again so I can open and close it again, until the new more sturdy door and rails arrive.

I am thoroughly happy with my new tube/pulley system! It's quiet and gets the job done! AJ the technician was great...he was good-humored and pleasant, despite it being very hot! Poor guy was drenched in sweat but still maintained a pleasant and professional demeanor. (And I did give him a couple cold drinks.) I didn't do much research on the pricing but it seemed reasonable for what was done (replacing springs, cables and rollers with the new "tube" system). And AJ was obviously experienced and prepared to do the job and got it done in an hour. Again, very pleased with the product and the service!

Excellent customer service! Everyone I dealt with, from start to finish, was wonderfully friendly and helpful. The issue with my garage door was identified in minutes and then AJ clearly laid out the steps he would take to repair it, working from least expensive up. He was able to get it working with the least expensive option and was finished in 20 min. I highly recommend them!

I called Precision based on the reviews they have gotten even though I had a coupon for another company. I am so glad I did! A.J. Was fantastic. Great sense of humor which goes a long way when you’re having to have unplanned repair work done! His scheduled time was 8AM and he was a little early! He checked everything out and then let me know what my best long term options were and of course the cost. I initially called for a repair (chain fell off the gear) but after explaining and showing me why this happened, he replaced the garage door opener unit, made sure everything was working properly and I was able to leave the house on time for a previous appt. I would highly recommend Precision Door Service. Everyone I spoke with with was friendly and professional! When the time comes, I will use them again!
