This company is professional and organized. They follow up and come when they say they will. The work performed was fine and the salesman / technician was knowledgeable. I would give them a five star but for the cost of the products and labor. This is a high margin business now owned by private equity. I was surprised by the cost of the basic parts and labor which took no more than 45 minutes. Repairs were just under $1,000 for rollers, cables, pullies, and springs, none of which are precision components that would warrant the cost. They do however provide a warranty, which I would have preferred not to be built into the cost. They have a good business model. Thanks.
Hi Jim, Thank you for your kind words regarding our service technicians and the work done. Please rest assured that we use the highest quality parts available on the market. They may not "look" different, but trust me they are. For example, if you look closely at the rollers, you'll see that they are sealed bearing rollers. Very much different from the exposed bearing rollers competitors use. From a distance, all you see is the white nylon, but the true longevity of the parts will be apparent as time goes on. Yes, many large service companies are being gobbled up by private equity firms, but we are still locally owned and operated and have been since 2005. I took full control over from my father this year and you can see my son working as a technician on our technician bio pages. It's not easy taking on multi million dollar firms, but we know what we need to do in order to prosper. Our goal is to grow our company around a core of great employees who provide the best possible service. I'm glad that you were able to experience the best side our great employees and the work they do.

Tina was polite, on time, and professional. She addressed my concerns about the door sticking, the uneven slant, and the loud noise that had developed when the door was activated. She inspected the whole system, noted and explained signs of wear. As nothing was visibly broken, I asked Tina to clean and lubricate the parts that needed maintenance. I was completely satisfied with the work and the bill. Tina left an estimate for replacing both doors. I will call Precision Door when I need to do just that.

I have used Precision Door Service in the past and have found them to provide excellent service at a reasonable price. They are responsive in terms of providing appointments, prompt in terms of meeting their scheduled appointment times, and provide excellent service at a fair price. The technician arrived as scheduled, diagnosed the problem, installed and programmed a new opener and completed the paperwork in less than 15 minutes. It was a refreshing experience compared to many other experiences with home repair organizations (plumbers, HVAC, handy men, etc.)

Like many of you we were faced with a sudden garage door problem. It jammed and left the track. We called Precision and they were able to get Tina to come out the very next day. She called us and kept us in the loop as to when she would arrive & was extremely prompt (almost to the minute). Tina did a thorough inspection, told us our problem and gave us all our options. Our problems were vast so we opted to just get a new door. We are very pleased with Precision's technician and will be happy to submit another review when the job is completed.

Impressive repair work that resulted in my issue being fully resolved at a reasonable price. The tech, Matthew, was professional and personable. He fully explained the repair process and provided several options -- I selected the one that met my basic needs and was affordable. My repair involved replacing two torsion springs and end bearing. Good work Matthew. I highly recommend him as an expert garage door technician.
