Matt called to say that he felt our Opener prices were too high and that he could buy one at a Home Depot or Online for far less. He also stated that our spring prices are much higher than what he could get online.
Matt, Understood. Nobody can compete with big box store. Home Depot sell openers for less than our least expensive opener costs us to buy. I'm sorry that you can't understand this, but this is the reality of all small business in America. BUT, you forget our openers are brought to your door, installed the same day you telephoned us for service and all done by a professional. We make sure your door is working safely ensuring that both your door and opener will have a long working life. You want cheap stuff. Call Home Depot. We are very satisfied with the service we received when the spring on our dourble car garage door broke around 7 p.m. last night. My wife is in a wheelchair and the garage is her main source of entry into our home. I went on line to look for a garage door repair service, found Precision, checked the reviews of those who use Precision, found many needed new springs, called them and got an appointment for first thing this morning. Bryan called to say he was on his way as indicated by the call service and arrived at the time he was predicted to be on site. He was very efficient and had the parts needed with him. We could not ask for more.

Precision was my second phone call. The first company came out, charged a service call and was uncommunicative when I asked questions. Precision called to confirm the appointment, and even called the morning of the visit to ask if they may come early. Leo (the service man who came-out) explained what he saw in my system, what the corrections were, and what I could expect from the current system. He charged for the service call only. He was professional, bright and informative. It was a pleasure to interact with him.

Your repair man Angel, did an excellent job. I would recommend your company to my neighbors. Angel did a first class job of explaining various things to me, and i appreciated that of him. He is very knowledgeable in what he does. I thought that the final cost of $529.00 was high, and i intend to check on that with your competitors. Maybe i am wrong, but as an engineer i need to make certain that i am not being over charged. Again, i thought that Angel did a good job, and that he was very fast in performing the job. Companies need people like Angel.
John, We appreciate your feedback. Please note that your service included an evening "Emergency Service Fee" for which there is a $140 charge to which you had agreed to prior to coming out. That might be why you were surprised by the larger than expect repair cost. I understand your concern. I also understand what it takes to ask a technician to get back into a work-truck after a cold, dark, 10hr winter's day to fulfill our customer's requests. The added Fee covers the overtime and incentive to ensure top quality work, even at the end of a long, cold day. Thank you for your patronage.

The team at Precision was great to deal with, starting with Tom the owner. We initially wanted to temporarily remove our old door to facilitate drywall work in our garage but when the door was inspected we learned that it could not be removed without damaging it. At that point Tom walked us through the new door options without pressuring us to buy. We ordered a new door but when it arrived the installers realized that the original measurements were incorrect and our door had to be ordered at a custom size. Tom handled this without any additional charge and the correct sized door arrived the next week. Angel and his assistant installed the door perfectly in one morning. He raised the rails as I requested so we now have a beautiful new door with greater headroom. I would gladly recommend Precision to my friends and family.

12/15/16 - Service included replacement of broken/frayed cables and old rollers on my garage door. Needed a quick repair and service was completed the same day I called. Technician, Bryan Grammond, was prompt, courteous, professional and skilled. Overall excellent service experience.

As discussed with Tom, there was no communication to me that Bryan was going to be an hour late after the set appointment. Having the technician or office staff contact the customer if there is to be a delay would eliminate this issue. Bryan is not a good reflection of customer service on your company which I have found everyone else I have dealt with in the past to be excellent. I only hope the quality of his work is better than his customer service.
Glen, As per our conversation, I do apologize. We dropped the ball on this call and appreciated your letting us know. Communication: I'll be discussing it with all our technicians this coming meeting. It's easy to forget to call ahead when faced with a difficult job, but they certainly need to keep in mind the customer who is still waiting. We'll work on it.
