I called Precision to replace a broken garage door cable. The technician, Dylan, was professional and explained the issues with the garage door. Although he suggested replacement of the door and the entire system, we worked through three options from minimal work/cost (approximately $500) to full replacement (almost $2000). I chose the former. Between arrival and bill payment, Dylan did the work in just over two hours. He left no trash behind. The garage door runs smoother and sounds less loud. I am unable to say whether the price was competitive because it was costly for me to try to compare prices: it seems to cost almost $100 for a company to make a service call to look at the job and give an estimate.

The scheduling process was easy & quick. The technician called the night before to let me know, I was his 2nd call of the day & and gave me a more approximate time than the scheduled 8-12. Then kept me up to date on his progress & timeline the day of the appt. I really appreciated this. Additionally, I received a text with the technician’s photo before he arrived. This was equally appreciated. The technician was knowledgeable & explained everything thoroughly. Did a great job, as you’d expect, but I appreciated the few extra touches that made this experience better than others.

Dylan arrived on time, and proceeded to give an overall assessment of our garage doors, with various options for repair, and or replacement. We chose to repair the existing doors. Dylan was very professional in his customer interchange explaining everything. He also was very efficient in doing the repairs immediately after our discussion of the options. I would highly recommend him. I was also very pleased that the repairs could be done in this initial visit, without delay. The repair was more costly than other estimates we obtained, but are very satisfied with the work done.

Did a very thorough job, troubleshooting and solving the issue with the opener that wasn't working, as well as assessing the condition of both openers and doors, and making recommendations on how to improve their operating condition. My garage door was randomly opening in the middle of the night and precision was able to fit me in the very next day, even offering advice on how I can keep the door firmly shut before they arrived. Who doesn’t love free advice? Leo arrived right on time, was thorough in explaining the situation, resolved the problem by managing a few variables and was done in about a half hour. Has been working great ever since!
