Following a power outage my door opener stopped working. The technician came and condemned the "board" due to a suspected power surge. Subsequently the door started functioning again following another outage (way to go PECO). My concern is that the board was condemned (for $300+) without testing for power cycling. I'm left with the worry that this will happen again. Understand that I am not faulting the technician, but he as well as I should have tried to power cycle the unit.

I called precision at 8:00 a.m. and the receptionist was very understanding and worked with me. They had a technician at my house before 1:00 p.m. the same day. We had a new garage door installed 4 years ago. The service was AMAZING! We LOVE our garage door. My husband thought there might be an issue with the rubber splash guard at the bottom of the door. I called and was given an appointment within 3 days!! But the communication did not stop there! I was kept up to date on when the tech would be arriving...it was FABULOUS! The tech (Vaughn) came out and spent a lot of time with my husband talking about the door and the splash guard. My husband was so thrilled with the service he called me at work and went on and on!! I discovered an issue with my garage door (broken spring) on Thursday, July 25 and they were able to send a service tech (Darrin Mills) the very next day to repair it. Darrin serviced my garage door on July 26, 2024. He notified me the day before and the morning of when he would be arriving. He was punctual and very friendly. Darrin approached his work very professionally and did an excellent job with the repair of my garage door. If I ever have another issue with my garage door or if anyone is looking for a recommendation, I will certainly steer them to Precision Door.

I’m a repeat customer of Precision having used them to install a garage door opener in 2020 and replace a faulty control unit in 21. This morning our spring broke and we were unable to get both cars out of the garage. Sean, a repairman, arrived within 90 minutes of me calling the office! He replaced the spring and the pointed out that the drive belt was quite worn and near failure. The office directed him to provide an option for a new rail and belt assembly rather than replacing the entire unit for a very reasonable price. Sean completed the job by 1230 and we were back in business and able to make a doctors appointment. Sean was knowledgeable, professional, polite, and great to work with. I couldn’t be happier with the outcome!
