Everyone at Precision Door was great and did exactly what they said they would do. A previous garage door repair service I used couldn’t give me a time when they could service my door and actually seemed disinterested to get the job. That’s when I got online and found Precision Door. I first talked to Beth who was extremely personable and knowledgeable to ask me the right questions to get my garage door repaired properly. She told me that Mike would be the Service Technician who would work on my door and gave me a time when Mike would arrive at my house. Mike contacted me before arriving and was at my house when promised. Mike was also extremely personable and knowledgeable of garage door repair. Mike told me the repair would take about 1 - 1.5 hours and the job was completed perfectly within that time. The price for their quality work was very reasonable. I highly recommend Precision Door.

I reached out to precision door first thing in the morning and they were able to schedule an appointment for me the same day. The customer service person was fantastic! AJ the TEC called letting me know what time he would arrive (along with a text from the company). AJ was very thorough with his inspection, explaining what areas needed to be repaired/replaced for the garage to function properly. After fixing he garage he explained what was replaced as well as recommendations as to what we should do in the future. He left us a quote for a new garage door as well if we choose to replace down the road. Very professional and I will recommend Precision Door friends and family.

I lost power because of the hurricane. I needed to leave the next morning, still no power, to pick up my grandchildren so their parents could go to work. I disconnected the electric cord of the garage door. I could not manually lift the garage door, even a little bit. I've done this many times before when I lost power in the past so I knew what I was doing. I tried to lift my garage door again and again. No luck. I called Precision and told them of my predicament. The receptionist said all the technicians were out on jobs, but she would send someone over as soon as one was free. Within an hour Mike called and said he was on his way. Mike showed up with his mask on ready to help. He checked out the problem-he couldn't lift the door either. He discovered the problem. With all the dampness from the hurricane, the top of the door was stuck to the wall. He had the muscles to yank the door away from the wall. No problem. The garage door lifted with ease. It was just one of those weird situations that took an experienced technician to figure out. Thank you, Mike, for coming to my rescue in a timely manner.

My old flimsy garage door had stopped working altogether. But I was amazed at how friendly and helpful the office staff was both to get started and as needed during the work. The representative, Leo, was sent to my home arriving within a couple of hours. He was very knowledgeable beyond my expectations, friendly, courteous, made recommendations that were logical and reasonable, replacing the flimsy door with a sturdier one, but keeping the electric motor that was still in good shape. He took time to explain all of the recommendations, and once we settled on our plan for a new sturdier door to be powered by the current motor, he took less than 30 minutes to get my current, broken down, noisy, flimsy door working again so I can open and close it again, until the new more sturdy door and rails arrive.

I am thoroughly happy with my new tube/pulley system! It's quiet and gets the job done! AJ the technician was great...he was good-humored and pleasant, despite it being very hot! Poor guy was drenched in sweat but still maintained a pleasant and professional demeanor. (And I did give him a couple cold drinks.) I didn't do much research on the pricing but it seemed reasonable for what was done (replacing springs, cables and rollers with the new "tube" system). And AJ was obviously experienced and prepared to do the job and got it done in an hour. Again, very pleased with the product and the service!

Very professional operation from start to finish. A cable snapped and we could not get our garage door to open or close without extreme effort. They were able to send Mike out the day after I called. Mike was on time and after checki8ng everything out offered 3 different solutions. The cheapest was to just get the garage door functioning again. The other 2 involved replacing rollers and springs that were showing signs of wear. As the garage door hadn't been serviced in many years I decided to go the whole distance so I wouldn't have to worry about those other parts failing over the next 4 years. Not cheap, but unlike another company I had once used Mike had a large truck with all the parts. He replaced the springs a second time before he left after I tried the door and still found it difficult to close. I wish I had used this company a year ago when I had an iffy company replace the weatherstripping on the bottom of the garage door. I guess you get what you pay for. The employees are obviously well-trained and know what they are doing.
