Instead of replying negatively you had a courteous and highly skilled technician, Ed check another company's work and corrected the flaws in their repair. This was the very best of service. Ralph, Glad we could help. Home Advisor has some pretty shady companies signed up and their "background check" is a sham. They only chck to see if companies have "pending" lawsuits, so fly by night outfits get away with a lot. Sorry for what happened with the other company.

I was very impressed with Eddie. His knowledge base together with his confident personality makes him an asset to Precision. He educated me on the safety issues of our garage doors. I'm appreciative of his concern. Great guy... Brians estimated costs were bogus. In our initial telephone conversation he priced the required repair work to be $120.00 to $150.00. Eddies lowest estimated price was well in excess of $300.00 with the highest cost being $750.00!! I'm not pleased with Brian's approach to obtaining customers. Very bad business practices.

Dear Mr. Jenkins, As always we at Precision Door truly appreciate any and all reviews that we receive. Although your review for our tech Ed is a glowing and well deserved review, i do feel that there were certainly misunderstanding with what Brian explained over the phone. My understanding is that he informed you that the job would be between 120.00 and 150.00 thats service call and labor not including any parts. So that being said your bill would have been service call 49.95 plus labor 89.00 equals a total of 138.95. You did not tell me about the condition of your cables maybe you didnt notice they were bad and needed replacement. As i was on phone and not on site i wouldnt know you needed cables either. So you take the 138.95 and add the cables at a cost of 99.00 and you arrive at your lowest estimate of 237.95 not the over 300.00 that you said in your review. We train our techs to give our customers all options so they can choose which service the feel most comfortable with and they are aware of all discounts and warranties that come with each different estimate so they can make an educated decision. In no way is it implied that you have to choose one over the other its always strictly the customers decision on which one to do. Technician (Leo) arrived on time, explained the work and options on replacing some older parts, price overall reasonable and the sound level of new unit versus old dropped considerably. My garage door opener had stopped working, so I purchased a new one, but needed it installed. I went on Yelp, and found Precision Door Service. They had some very good reviews, so I scheduled an appointment. Ed was wonderful... very professional and knowledgeable. He arrived early, explained everything he was going to do, starting with a multipoint inspection. Once completed, Ed reviewed his finding and presented me with 3 pricing options (there was no pressure to choose one over the other). Throughout the entire install, Ed would check in just to let me know how things were going. After the install, Ed reviewed everything with me (all functions of the new opener and the repairs). I would highly recommend Ed and Precision Door Service.
