Hello, My name is Gabriel Pojar.
I am the father of a beautiful young daughter, Natalie. She is loves to put on plays and sing. She is the most precious gift I received from God. I like to write poetry and read novels in my spare time (not much free time as a single father)
I was born and raised in Romania. I came to the U.S. 20yrs ago and received my citizenship recently. I love this great country and the opportunity that it has given me. I've worked in construction for a long time and am very happy to work for Precision Door. There is a respect for employees that is really great.
My daughter and I rent a small place in a rural town, but I'm saving up for a place of my own where my daughter and I can live.
I'm a sports fan, soccer being the first. I like to watch hockey and football too. I've lived in PA so long that I've become an Eagles fan.

Our garage door opener was not working correctly. Your technician, Gabriel, came to our home and fixed the opener so it was working correctly. Gabriel fixed it fairly quickly and answered all of my questions to my satisfaction.
He sent an email and also called approximately 30 minutes prior to his arrival, so we knew when to expect him.

The spring on our garage door broke on a Monday night. I called Precision on Tuesday afternoon and they set me up for a Wednesday afternoon appointment. Our technician called when he was on his way. He explained everything that needed to be done and gave his recommendations to repair our garage door. Work was great and done in about an hour. Great job and a satisfied customer! Thank you!

Got an appointment for the day after I called. The technician, Gabriel, was on time, very knowledgeable and personable. He answered my many questions and explained the problems in an easily understandable way. He helped me program my garage door opener remote and reprogram my outdoor keypad. My husband and I run a landscape business out of our house so having a working garage door is essential. We noticed that a hinge had broken and tried to purchase a replacement part at a local box store. Realizing the part didn’t match our current hinge we decided to Google “garage door repair”. Precision Doors popped up and we read the information on the site. Being business owners ourselves, we understand the importance of finding honest people who won’t run a large tab for unnecessary parts. So we figured we would give it a shot.
I called Precision Door on Monday and spoke with Tom, who mentioned how odd it is for hinge 1 to break. He mentioned that a spring or cable may also be an issue but stressed that we could use the hinge we purchased at the box store and make the repair easily on our own. While I was on the phone my husband took a look at the door and found that the cable was starting to fray. We opted for an appointment the following day.
Our local electric company suddenly notified us of a scheduled power outage for maintenance in our area the next day. So we called Precision Door that night and had the appointment changed to Wednesday instead.
Late Tuesday night we were again notified by our electric company. We had not lost our power and instead the work was scheduled for Wednesday. This was the day we had rescheduled our original appointment for.
The power company offered a generator and I contacted Precision Door to make sure they would be comfortable still working on the door using a generator. I was assured it wouldn’t be an issue.
Gabriel came to fix our garage door and was very punctual. We cannot give enough stars for the amazing work and kindness he showed. We are in the middle of a heat wave. Today was at least 93 degrees, no power at the house, no fan running and most likely hotter in the garage. Gabe was extremely polite and professional. He explained everything he was doing. He did a thorough look over our door and showed us some issues we had. He allowed us to make the decisions over whether or not to replace certain parts. He was honest with pricing, he told us certain parts could be purchased elsewhere for less money however the convenience of having them installed and the security we felt with his professionalism made us want to have it all completed right there. There are not enough nice things to say about how well things worked out.

Thank you Beth for working with us around our changing schedule, thank you Gabe for your fast, professional and kind work, and thank you Keith for providing us with such a wonderful company. Wow! I spoke to an actual person on the phone at Precision. An appointment was set up for the following day for our garage door/opener. Technician Gabe showed up, diagnosed the problem, gave us a couple of options, and we chose to repair, with the hope that we could extend the life of our door and opener. He was friendly, worked efficiently, explained what was being done, and finished the job in about 45 minutes. We were pleased and felt that the price was fair.

Like to thank u for sending (Gabriel ) out. Being a Sr citizen he explained everything to me about my garage doors. Fixed one, but will wait to get the other one fixed. Review:
I had used Precision Door twice in the past, once for a garage door replacement and once for an opener replacement. When one of the springs broke I didn’t hesitate to contact them again. I was charged $675 for 2 new springs, 4 pulleys, and a new cable wire. It took the technician 35 minutes to complete the job. Afterwards I did some internet research on the parts. I was charged $35 per pulley while the average price online is $5. Springs sell for way less than the $120 each that I was charged. I felt totally ripped and still do. I will not be using Precision Door in the future. The only positive part of this experience was the technician, Gabriel, who was very professional and was not responsible for the absurd prices he quoted.

Sorry to hear you felt our prices are high. However, it is a great mistake to believe that on-line pricing of products in any way reflect the true cost of at home services. Asking us to match Amazon's price on springs is the same as asking Domino's to match a supermarket frozen pizza or asking Wawa to match the cost of a cup of coffee made at home. Last year, my Wawa coffee costed $1. Yesterday, my Wawa coffee costs $2. Coffee made at home cost how much? This is true to our running costs across the board.
We service your home with a fully stocked truck in order to fix your door same day, stocked superior quality parts, by professional technicians. American made springs (your springs were produced in Reading PA), Gas, Trucks (45% increase in truck costs year on year) and technician pay, everything across the board, has all risen significantly over the last year. In these uncertain times, in order to serve our customers today and many years into the future, we've raise our prices significantly.
Our apologies, but that's just the reality of the current business environment. We wish you all the best. Keep in mind, you have a great warranty on your spring system which we 100% back. If in the future, there is an issue with the repair we did, please don't hesitate to call us in order to address any issues that are covered under warranty.

I found the Receptionist (Beth) who answered the phone when I made my appointment to be extremely knowledgeable and very pleasant.
My service technician,Gabriel Pohar, was very patient and thorough with his explanations of the different motors. He was efficient with his work and explained everything about the motor I had replaced. He cleaned up and left no debris. I can truthfully say he was one of the best service persons I had ever had. Gabe was excellent. He diagnosed the problem and too care of the repair immediately. He also quoted me a price for a new garage door especially since ours is original. I only ask that we be notified if the technician is vaccinated against covid-19 so that I probably should have worn a mask even thought I am tripe vaccinated.

I had purchased my garage door and opener from Precision. When ever there is a problem i call them for service. They are very reliable and their work is excellent. They last repair I had a technician by the name of David. He was excellent in solving the problem and explaining what he did
