Thank you for taking the time to read my bio. I'm a Aquarius. Favorite food is sushi and sea food. Turn-ons: Pina Coladas, Getting caught in the Rain. I'm not into into Yoga, and I do have half a brain. ;-)
Beyond that, and first and foremost, I'm the proud father of two boys, Vaughn and Chris. At the time of this writing, Vaughn is attending Temple and Chris is in High School.
I like being outdoors, play golf and fish. When I'm not playing golf, I'm fishing. If I'm not fishing, I'm cooking. If I'm not cooking, I'm playing golf.
I'm also a huge sports fan, Flyers, Eagles, Sixers and every other Philly team. GO PHILLY. And, I like to hang out with friends over some adult beverages.

We had a torsion spring break on Thursday evening and Precision was very responsive, arriving in about an hour. AJ and his partner had the parts needed, got right to work and had the job completed in about an hour. Everything was explained clearly and the guys brought a sense of humor to the job. I highly recommend Precision for any of your garage door repair needs.

Review:
AJ visited my house, on short notice, to solve different problems with my two garage door openers. He was friendly, prompt, and professional. He also walked me through everything he was doing, from diagnosing problems to proposing my options for solving them. I hope I don't need to have my openers fixed again any time soon, but if I do I'll most certainly ask AJ to come back.
One opener wouldn't sync with any new remote I'd tried, so I figured the antenna system was shot. But AJ got it working with a different kind of universal remote and explained what the manufacturers of each remote didn't mention regarding compatibility standards.
The other opener had an internal plastic cog that was completely stripped. AJ talked me through the pros and cons of replacing the malfunctioning part versus replacing the opener's head unit; I decided on a head unit replacement. AJ installed it quickly and without fault.
I now have two working garage doors and remotes for each of them.

I had a fantastic service visit today with Precision for a routine check of my garage door opener and all parts, lube maintenance and an installation of a replacement back up battery. The Tech (A.J. Yanko) was a truly great guy. He was right on time, professional, friendly and did high quality work and in a very neat fashion. I'll be asking for him again in the future. The costs and pricing were very reasonable, and in fact, were less than what was estimated on the call where I made my appointment. Precision Door has repaired our garage door previously and also in January 2021. Repair was scheduled without delay. The service technician was knowledgeable and competent. The repair was completed and the garage door has been working fine. The new technology installed allowed the garage door to be activated from a cell phone. I highly recommend Precision Door.

AJ and Kurt repaired my brother in law's garage door yesterday and did a fantastic job. They completely restored all of the movable parts plus the door opener. They clearly understood what was needed and explained all the options. Having discussed my brother in law's health/mobility issues they provided suggestions that were right on point particularly the MyQ remote access app that allows him to control the garage door from his cell phone. The best part is my brother in law loves what was done!!

Scheduled an appoint because the cable through one of our spring broke. Our technician came out and spent most of his time walking in circles in the garage randomly yelling to my wife about different things he saw in the garage. He then told my wife he needed to rebuild the entire system. When she told him that she wanted to think about it, he adjusted the door so two pulley ran into each other on the remaining cable, leaving the garage door unable to fully close. This then bent the angle iron on that side. In summary, I called for service and had my system broken further by the technician that attempted to scam us. Would never recommend to anyone.

Called Precision last Saturday and they scheduled me for the following Monday at 10:00.
AJ their serviceman called to let me know he would be at my house around 10:00 that morning. He replaced my tortion bar springs and rollers. He also checked door operation and explained what he was doing to me. The pricing was fair and I would highly recommended Precision to anyone in need of excellent service.

Fantastic knowledge of their craft as well as excellent customer service. I had a emergent issue with my double garage door that was so severe, I thought it absolutely needed replacement. Precision showed up in one day and actually was able to fix it. It was a custom fix by a very experienced tech that had a "no quit" passion for his work. I would highly recommend Precision to anyone.
